Joseph Leno, CEO/Founder

Joseph Leno is CEO and Founder of Impact Equities. He has been active in the real estate community for over a decade and has been involved in the acquisition of over $200MM+ of property. Joseph has extensive experience acquiring distressed property specifically pre-foreclosure and foreclosure properties. In addition to his distressed property experience, he also specializes in the re-positioning of non-performing/sub-performing properties, rent-stabilized/rent-controlled buildings, townhome restoration & renovation, luxury single family development and ground-up multi-family, mixed use and commercial development.   

Joseph was also a Co-Founder and Principal at Quad Property Group,  a real estate investment company that specializes in the acquisition, redevelopment, and management of commercial real estate. While at Quad, the company acquired $30MM+ of national multi-family property in the South East (Jacksonville, FL & Augusta, GA). In the Spring of 2018, Joseph left Quad to expand Impact Equities into additional emerging markets.

In November of 2023, Joseph and his team completed 21 Mt Hope Place in the Bronx, a 55 Unit, 49,000+ Sq Feet rental building consisting of 100% affordable housing.   

Aside from Joseph’s Real Estate ventures he is classically trained in voice, piano and acting and has worked and performed professionally in all capacities.

He recently founded and is the board chairman of the “Joseph & Anna Leno Foundation” (named after his Grandparents) to provide support via grants and scholarships to gifted aspiring performance artists in high school looking to pursue a career in the performing arts.

At Impact Equities, Matt is responsible for conducting Investment Analysis, underwriting, deal origination, and market research across a diverse set of real estate investments. Prior to joining Impact, Matt interned at Astor Realty Capital, a private equity firm that placed LP equity in multifamily projects across various markets. Matt graduated magna cum laude from Binghamton University with a B.S. in Finance.

Matt also has a background in construction management; being exposed to all aspects of general contracting greatly enhances his ability to support construction/development budgeting.                                      

In his personal time, Matt enjoys traveling, playing golf, and snowboarding.

Lucca is responsible for analyzing potential real estate investments, conducting due diligence, and assisting in deal execution. He contributes to the team's efforts in financial modeling, market analysis, and client and investor relationships.

In his prior role, Lucca gained valuable experience in the financial sector as a Fixed-Income Trading Assistant. This role provided him with a strong foundation in financial markets, trading dynamics, and client relationship management. Lucca holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of St Andrews.

In his personal time, Lucca enjoys getting outdoors and following current events.
